The story behind this shirt
The Democracy at Work Institute's most recent sector report counted 751 known U.S. worker cooperatives with more than $480 million in combined annual revenue. The count grew 20 percent in two years and tripled over the decade. The front print says "Mondragon: 70,085 workers, one vote each." and, under it, the address of the Worker Cooperatives page on this site, where the claim sits with its evidence, the best case against it, and the answer.
