Sizing, shipping, washing, and how the history gets checked. Anything else, the contact page reaches a person.

What is Left Wing Merch?

A reference library about the American left that sells the shirt on every page. Biographies of figures like Eugene Debs and Mother Jones, explainers on causes like Medicare for All and the eight-hour day, each one researched and cited, and one tee per page that says the name out loud. Read the page, then wear it.

Is Left Wing Merch union made?

No. The shirts are printed on demand, and no print-on-demand line is union made, so this site never says it. If a union made line ever lands here it will be named, with the shop and the local, as a separate product. The whole supply chain is on the Who made this page.

How long does shipping take?

Orders over $75.00 ship free, and everything ships tracked; below that it is a flat $5.95. Your shirt is printed for your order and on its way inside a week, then 2 to 5 business days across the US. We ship within the United States for now.

What is the return policy?

Unworn, unwashed items can be returned by mail free within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Write to support@leftwingmerch.com with your order reference and we send the label. Printing to order is our production method, never a returns loophole.

How do the sizes run?

Tees run S to 3XL in a standard unisex cut. The blank is still being sampled, so the flat measurements on the size guide land once a physical shirt has been washed and measured, never from a spec sheet. Until then, order the size you wear in a standard unisex tee, and write to support@leftwingmerch.com if you are between sizes.

Are the articles accurate?

Every article lists its sources, every date was checked against them, and every quote is verbatim from a cited document. Where the record is unclear, the article says so instead of picking the better story. Found an error? Write to support@leftwingmerch.com and it gets corrected on the page, with a note saying what changed.

What is the Argue it section?

On the cause pages, a set of claims you can make out loud, each with its evidence, the best case the other side makes, and the answer. The other side gets its strongest argument, attributed by name, because beating a weak one proves nothing. Every number carries a source and the date we last checked it, and every claim has a card you can save and post. A claim that cannot beat its own counterargument on the evidence does not go on the page.

Are the book links affiliate links?

The bookshelf on each page links to Bookshop.org, which supports independent bookstores, and to WorldCat so you can borrow the book from a library for nothing. If a Bookshop link earns this site a commission, the page says so above the list. The books are on the list because they are the ones to read, and the library link is always there.

Did the people on the shirts approve them?

No. The figures on these shirts did not make them and do not endorse them, and no part of any sale goes to a campaign, a party or an estate. Pages about living figures are history and commentary written from the public record.

Is Left Wing Merch affiliated with a political party?

No. Left Wing Merch is an independent store with a worldview: pro-worker, pro-union, pro-democracy. We sell shirts and publish history. No part of checkout donates to anyone.

How do I wash a printed tee?

Cold water, inside out, hang dry. That is the safe rule for any printed cotton tee. The exact care line for the approved blank goes on each product page when the sample clears the wash test.
