The story behind this shirt
H.R. 6361 does not terminate ICE the day it might pass. It creates a commission, gives it 180 days from its first meeting to report on where ICE's functions should go, and only then starts a clock that runs a full year before the agency has to close. Congress ran a comparable split in 2002, dissolving the INS and dividing its work among USCIS, CBP, and ICE; that structure has now run for 23 years. The front print says "Congress already split an agency in 2003. It held." and, under it, the address of the Abolish ICE page on this site, where the claim sits with its evidence, the best case against it, and the answer.
