The story behind this shirt
Cengiz, Dube, Lindner, and Zipperer studied 138 state minimum wage increases from 1979 to 2016, the span that covers the campaign's first city and state wins. Five years after each increase the total number of low-wage jobs was essentially unchanged, food service included. The sticker says "Kiosks got blamed. The job count never moved." and carries the address of the Fight for $15 page on this site, where the claim sits with its evidence, the best case against it, and the answer. It is sized for a laptop lid or a water bottle. Print partner and vinyl stock stay pending until a physical sample has been checked.
